Description
of Work
For
three decades Perrott Hay has explored the properties of the natural
world. Her practice is characterized by the incorporation of many
families of the floribunda, oceanic and arboreal worlds.
Most recently Perrott Hay pushes these themes into the realm of
fantacy and imagination, entertaining the notion of illumination
in generic trees, and imagined gardens, metaphysical, allegorical
and mythological.
Perrott Hay uses traditional painting materials and techniques and
also engages with the contemporary world pigment Inkjet and illuminated
Perspex.
